So I'm sitting at a light in traffic on the way home from work yesterday when a cop in a marked Charger pulls up next to me. I'm just sitting there listening to my music when all of a sudden he starts revving his engine. He proceeds to do it like 5 times next to me. I can see the car surging forward while he's doing it, so I know he was doing on purpose. I can only assume he was trying to get me to rev my engine, which I never did. I just ignored him and kept going on my way. WTF. Since when to cops in marked cars, while in uniform rev their engines at people?

image is a photo I took at the High Museum.

Maybe he's trying to tempt you into street racing. (I know I know, it's a marked Charger)

Should you fall for it though...

It was one of the crazier things to happen to me, that is for sure.

What were you driving? Maybe he just wanted to hear you rev. I don't know why he wouldn't have just lowered the window and asked, but maybe

Then maybe he wanted to nail you for excessive noise. :o

Don't trust traffic police. They are sneaky.

big reason I didn't rev it, and took off slow.
